Okay, we’re back to the cat screen. In this episode, I’ll show you how to apply Jones Tones Puff Paint and set it up to add texture to your paintings. I’m using Plaid Folk Art Fabric Paint in licorice (black) to paint the Puff Paint after it sets. Next episode: Butterflies.

I decided to include some simple knitting basics videos for those of you who would like to learn to knit. I’m using Lion Brand Thick & Quick yarn in Blossom and Clover Bamboo straight needles in size 13. I’ve found this yarn to be very giving and great for teaching beginning knitters. I’ll follow up with Parts II and III in which I’ll show the basic knit stitch, purl stitch and how to bind off, or take your work off the needles when finished.
